Excellent: Volledig ontzorgd worden en jij bepaalt de verhuisdata! Alles wordt voor je geregeld. Van verhuisdozen, tot inpakken, laden en lossen.

Comfort: The quality of a certified moving company, but still affordable moving. To reduce costs, various household goods are combined.

Regular: Good option if you plan to help with moving tasks, but still want the most important moving activities to be guaranteed.

Budget: We take care of transportation, you arrange the rest!

Emigrating without stress

First of all; prepare very well. This applies to everything. Involve multiple specialists who can take the burden off you and your family. This prevents most of the stress. Arranging matters takes much more time than a domestic move.

The Portuguese bureaucracy is totally different from the Dutch. Paperwork, as in other Southern European countries, can take much longer than you're used to. Think for example of the local municipality, but also applying for your NIF number. Tip: start your preparation well in advance!

Don't forget to...

Learn the Portuguese language. The local population will greatly appreciate this and be even more helpful towards you. Even if you only know a few basic words.
Deregister from your current municipality and register with your new municipality in Portugal. This also allows you to request a Certificado de Registo.
Apply for your NIF number (Número de Identificação Fiscal). This allows you to arrange all kinds of matters in Portugal. Think for example of opening a bank account, buying a car, and closing subscriptions.
Open an account with the 'Portal das Finanças' after you have applied for your NIF number. This is the Portuguese Tax Authority. Is this all too complicated for you? Then call in a specialist or ask us for tips.
